Privacy Policy: Hangeul Font MCP

Hangeul Font MCP ("the Service") is a free, public tool that helps people and AI assistants find free Korean fonts and check their license terms. The Service is run by Youngji Kim as an individual developer.

What we collect

• Search text you send. When you or your AI assistant call search_fonts, pair_fonts or match_for_foreigners, the text of the request (for example, "cute handwriting font for a Halloween café poster") is processed to rank fonts.
• Basic server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (time, requested path, IP address, user agent) for security and reliability.
• We do not require an account, and we do not ask for names, email addresses, payment details, or files.

How we use it

• To return font recommendations and license information.
• To keep the Service secure and working.
• We do not use your requests for advertising, and we do not sell data.

Third parties

• Anthropic. The text of search_fonts, pair_fonts and match_for_foreigners requests is sent to the Anthropic Claude API to interpret the request and rank fonts. Anthropic processes it under its commercial API terms. License verdicts come from our own dataset, not from the model.
• Vercel. The Service is hosted on Vercel, which processes server logs as our hosting provider.
• Font CDNs. The web playground loads font files from Google Fonts and jsDelivr, which receive your IP address when your browser fetches fonts.

Retention

• We do not store request text. Our application logs record only the request method, path and status code, not the text you send.
• Hosting logs follow our hosting provider's retention.

Your choices

• You can use the Service without providing any personal information. Avoid including personal information in your search text.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 14.

We will update this page and the date above if this policy changes.
